Monday, February 26th is our winter Court of Honor. Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of our Scouts. 7pm PSMS - Class A Uniform.

March 10th - Annual St. Patricks Parade in Martin City
We would like to everyone to join Troop 10 and Troop 6010 as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day by marching in the annual Martin City St. Patrick's Parade and handing out candy to kiddos in the community! The parade takes place March 10, 2024 and we ask that everyone arrive between 12:30pm-1:00pm. We will start decorating the truck at 12:30pm and the parade begins at 2:00pm. Dress is Class A Uniform and as much green as you can wear.

We will meet for the parade near the Michael's parking lot near 135th St. We lead the parade, so we will be the first entry right by the road. Just look for the Troop 10 truck. The parade will end by the Martin City Jack Stack on Holmes. Make sure someone is available to meet your Scout at the end of the parade route if you do not walk with us.

Shooters Safety Campout is going to be a blast!
|
Shooters Safety Campout at Mill Creek Gun Club - T10/6010 will be doing a campout at the Mill Creek Gun Club in March. We will have 22's, Shotguns, Archery, Hatchet Throwing, Knife Throwing and Black Powder Shooting. Mark your calendars and get ready for a fun weekend on the range.

BSA National Youth Training Opportunity
|
Heart of America Council is hosting two sessions of National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) this summer. This is an excellent opportunity for Scouts to develop character-developing skills and knowledge. Per the council, the course focuses on "what a leader must be, what they must know, and what they must do."
|
Tangible leadership development can be an important achievement in applications to highly competitive universities and the service academies. The cost is $225. Dates are 26-31 May and 21-26 July. The training is held at Naish Scout Reservation.
