For Peeps Sake - Community Service Opportunity
Sign-up below to help partner with our Charter Organization, The Leawood Lions Club at the Leawood Park and Res. Easter Egg Hunt and Crafts activity. Scouts will be helping hid Easter Eggs in the par, helping the kids with Crafts, Helping with the Petting Zoo and Setting up and Taking Down the event.

OA District Callout - April 1 at Mt. Moriah
On Monday, April 1st we will be meeting in the far East undeveloped portion of Mt. Moriah – above the pond for the Soaring Eagle District Order of the Arrow Call-out. Parents and guests are welcome. Parents are advised to bring a folding chair. All Scouts please wear full Class "A" with OA Sash.

Camp Bartle Adult Workday - April 6th
April 6th is the next Adult Work Day at Bartle Scout Camp. It would be a very good idea for a group of us adults to volunteer for the day to help get ready for Summer Camp. They totally rely on volunteers to get these things done. Camp is coming up soon.

Rob Baker and Herb Strain have agreed to lead our group of volunteers and go down for the day to give service to the Reservation. We would like to get as many Adults/Parents/Leaders together to bring a sizable group down to help.

Please email Herb for more information and if you are willing and able. Once we see who can go, I will try to coordinate carpooling, etc. We will all need to register individually by April 2nd.

T10 Committee Meeting - April 7
|
The next Troop 10 Committee Meeting is Sunday, April 7th at 6pm. We will meet in the conference Room at Mt. Moriah. All T10 adults are asked to attend and participate ion the meeting.

T10 Family Canoe Campout - April 12-14
The canoe campout is for the whole T10 family.
|
The canoe campout is a great time for bonding with your Scout. Parents please plan on attending with your Scout. Scouts must be at least 14 yrs old, a Life or Eagle Scout, and have lifesaving merit badge to canoe with another Scout. If your Scout meets this requirements, he will need to arrange canoe partners prior to the campout. All other Scouts must canoe with an adult, which may be mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, etc. At the Living Waters Canoe Ministry, 309 Prayer Homestead, Macks Creek, MO.

T6010 Culture Fest Campout - April 12-14
T6010's Culture Fest is coming soon! We will be exploring all of the cultures we have within the troop with ethnic cooking, presentations about their home country, cultural games and activities. The Culture Fest will begin with a T6010 Family Culture Fest Dinner at the Big Bull Creek Campgrounds. Saturday will include cooking and camping requirements, 5 mile hike requirement and more sharing of the various cultures in our Troop.
