Worldwide Scouts Read Sacred Texts - National Day of Prayer

The Scout Oath begins with “I will do my best to do my Duty to God… and the Scout Law ends with …” A Scout is Reverent” . The 12th Point of our Scout Law is “A Scout is Reverent.”

Now more than ever, our world needs the power of prayer and positive action. Tomorrow, the Heart of America Council is partnering with councils across the country and Scout organizations worldwide for a first of its kind event.

On May 2, Scouts around the world will read the sacred texts of Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eastern Orthodox & Sikh faiths. Learn how you can be a part of this global celebration at the links below.
