New T6010 Scout and Leader Renewal Email

Most of you have received a renewal email notice from the Boy Scouts of America. You can also access the renewal link through MyScouting.org > Click on My Application in the menu > My Renewals
< CLICK for the T6010 Renewal List >

T6010 has two options.
  1. Pay your renewal online by clicking the link in the Renewal Email.
  2. Bring a check made out to HOAC to a T6010 Meeting and give it to Becki Clary. This will save you the transaction fee. She will take the renewals to HAOC.
Youth:
National Annual Fee: $85 + Council Fee: $39 = Total: $124
Adult:
National Annual Fee: $65 + Council Fee: $39 = Total: $104
Optional:
Scout's Life Magazine Annual Subscription: $15

The renewal fee does NOT cover your Troop Fee. It will be deducted automatically from your Troop 6010 Scout Debit Account. 2024/25 dues will be determined at the September Committee Meeting. Last year our Scout Troop Fee was $176.

If you have any Scout Renewal questions please text Becki Clary at 913.963-7282.

A note from T10 Scoutmaster Pierce

TROOPzz 10,
A special congratulations to our new Senior Patrol Leader: Joson Mauer. I’m looking forward to working with him and the Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders: Conner Miller, Donovon Chen, and Kosta Shilland. A big thanks to everyone who ran for a position and remember: “The greatest glory of living lies not in never falling but in rising every time you fall” – Oliver Goldsmith.

MONDAY NIGHT - LEADERSHIP TRAINING
At this Monday’s meeting there will be leadership training for the newly elected positions. The leaders of the troop (the Scouts) need to understand the expectations of their role and the importance of it as well. These positions help you learn and grow as leaders. Everyone gets better with practice, so don’t feel disheartened if you haven’t mastered the skilled need just yet. If you do not have a position yet, I would still encourage you to attend as there will be some activities for you as well.

SEPTEMBER CAMPOUT
Also coming up is the September campout, a bike campout at Lake Garnett. It is an excellent opportunity to complete a requirement of the camping merit badge (9-b-3: Take a bike trip of at least 15 miles or at least four hours). Keep an eye out for the signup and more details.

Yours in Scouting,

Rodney Pierce
Troop 10 Scoutmaster
