    Our troop family

Our Troop 10/6010 family of Scouts, trained leaders and adult role models instill Scouting’s core values, which reinforce the moral compass of the youth served and guide them to become responsible citizens of great character.

Sharing high adventures, serving our community, building lifelong friendships, and a meaningful roadmap for life… Our troop family represents thousands of unforgettable Scouting memories.

We are one Troop Family and share some of our activities and leadership with Troop 6010. This allows us to do a wide variety of adventures together and on our own. It’s up to our Scouts.

Adventures are in everything we do

    • We camp every month August thru June:
Canoe Campout • Katy Trail Bike Campout • Horseback Riding • Fishing • Shooter Safety • Indoor Winter Camping at the Omaha Zoo • Hutchison Salt Mine – Cosmosphere • Klondike Derby • Climbing and Repelling • Whatever adventures our Scouts want to do
    • We will be attending the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation this summer
    • We offer High Adventure activities every year including:
Philmont Scout Ranch • Northern Tier Canoe Base • Florida National High Adventure Sea Base • National and World Jamboree • Kandersteg International Scout Centre, Switzerland • Rocky Mountain High Adventure
    • We participate in the Order of the Arrow and the Tribe of Micosay

    Giving back gives more

Our Scouts recognize the gifts our committee has given them and give back in several ways every month.

Highway 69 Clean-up • Ozanam • Clean the Creek • Multiple Eagle Projects every year • Harvesters • Honor Tree • Trash the Trash • and many more both community service and conservation Projects

    Our Scouts run the show

Older Scouts train younger Scouts to assume leadership roles, and with those skills, the Scouts plan the program and carry it out. By planning and organizing activities, they develop teamwork and learn to lead as well as follow.

    Our leaders continue to give

Many of our leaders continue to give their time and their heart, long after their own children have earned the rank of Eagle Scout… A reflection of Troop 10/6010’s lasting impact.
